A repeatable turnover routine for short-term rentals, built around tight checkout and check-in windows.
Work backwards from check-in
Turnovers are time-boxed. Share your checkout and check-in times, and whether same-day turnovers are normal for your listing, so the visit is scheduled with enough room to finish properly.
Every turnover
- Strip and remake beds with fresh linens where provided
- Bathrooms: fixtures, glass, mirror, floors, fresh towels
- Kitchen: dishes, counters, sink, appliance exteriors, fridge check
- Living areas reset to your listing photos
- Vacuum, mop and take out garbage and recycling
Restocking to agree in advance
- Toilet paper, paper towel, garbage bags
- Soap, shampoo and dish soap
- Coffee, tea and welcome items
- Spare linen and towel sets kept on site
Report-backs worth requesting
Ask for a note on damage, missing items or low supplies after each turnover. It is far cheaper to hear about a stained duvet from your cleaner than from your next guest.
